Legendary vacations start with making memories that last a lifetime and the setting is perfect at the Legendary Trails End Ranch at Angel Fire. You can all stay together in a beautiful, private estate on 12 acres with stunning views less than one mile from where scenes depicting Montana from the movie Lonesome Dove were filmed. Lovely, 3000 sq ft log home with outdoor hot tub and infrared heater, a two room guest cabin, plus a log barn with a view... only five minutes from the ski slopes and summer mountain activities of Angel Fire Resort OR you can ski the Enchanted Circle starting 20 minutes to Red River Ski Resort and 48 minutes to Taos Ski Valley!

Main home has three guest suites with king beds and bunk beds and two smaller bunk rooms to sleep 18, plus Cabin sleeps 4-6, also 1 RV Hook up available.

Private, amazing setting just 5 miles from Angel Fire Resort, in a lower elevation area so we don't worry so much about steep mountain climbing drives...just slight incline from property gate entrance to the house - great for kids and the kids at heart to slide down on sleds and for great views. Plenty of wildlife, all the winter sports nearby with Angel Fire Ski Resort and Nordic Center...World Class Mountain Biking center, ziplining, fishing and golf for summer. Concierge services available to include booking excursions like sleigh rides, snowmobiling, guided elk pack trips, horseback riding, trail rides, fly fishing, ziplining, golf, spa services and hot springs, and shopping to grocery delivery or meal delivery and even rental SUV's and pickup service for our guests who fly into Taos (Taos Air flies non-stop service between Taos and Austin, Dallas, San Diego and Los Angeles) or Santa Fe Airport.

Even with so much to do and see, we warn you after the first night you will be thinking about the thick fluffy beds and looking forward to a sound night's sleep!! This home is complete with luxury premium mattresses, bedding and linens so comfortable our guests have ordered them for back home! For apres ski, you can warm up your frozen, weary bones in the master steam shower or the 6 man hot tub with infrared heater. We have a mudroom off the carport with boot and glove warmers and a place for your gear. For the party we have a kitchen with all necessary appliances and gadgets (if you need something let us know so we can have it); a 5 burner gas range plus convection oven with auxillary oven (can bake multiple racks of gingerbread cookies with the kids!) two refrigerators; a Coffee Bar complete with three coffee machines: Cuisenart coffee maker with grinder, Keurig, and Nespresso Virtua; a great room with dining table, bar and living area with the latest INFINITY Touchscreen Board Game with over 40 games for adults and children up to 6 players!! For wildlife viewing and for the STARGAZERS (the night sky is amazing!) we have a telescope with Iphone attachment for night sky shots or for wildlife watchers. We even have one for the little ones so they won't feel left out.

For those of you who have to keep up with work we are set up for a REMOTE WORK or SCHOOL VACATION with High-speed Fiberoptic internet and a color printer/scanner. We also have Smart Tv's with HULU Live + STARZ.

You will also find a rustic cozy cabin a couple hundred yards from the main house with a king bed, living area with 43" TV and separate bedroom with bunk beds and washer/dryer. This cabin has cowgirl kitchen with small stove and refrigerator, coffee maker and all the necessary equipment except a dishwasher - that's the cowgirl! You can stay warm with a propane heater or keep a fire going in the wood burning stove. Bathroom has shower.

***Please take note that the main house is about 200 feet from cabin, but privacy fence was installed in 2019
